Admissions Officer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the review and notification of undergraduate applications for admission and scholarships.
• Serve as the primary liaison for the Rutgers Business School–New Brunswick and the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics.
• Discuss academic credentials and admissions parameters with admissions committees to ensure adherence to University Senate Policy.
• Maintain compliance with NCAA regulations regarding the admission and enrollment of Division I recruited athletes.
• Perform standard admissions counselor duties, including student and family counseling and presenting at information sessions.
• Participate in assigned recruitment activities and develop special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least two years of comprehensive experience in college admissions or enrollment management.
• Experience with admission determinations, working with faculty, and academic advising.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and relational databases.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work occasional evenings or weekends.

• Willingness to master new technologies.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding higher education.
