Admissions & Enrollment Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret admissions and enrollment data to support institutional reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct research related to enrollment trends and data integrity, including identifying indicators of fraudulent or suspicious activity.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on data integrity by investigating inconsistencies and resolving duplicate records.
• Perform updates and corrections to student records in alignment with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, and IT departments to address data issues and ensure accurate record maintenance.
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports and develop dashboards using data visualization tools to provide actionable insights.
• Identify recurring data patterns and recommend process improvements to enhance institutional data quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Two years of professional research-related work experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of spreadsheets or data visualization tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy when managing sensitive records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience working with student information systems such as Banner or PeopleSoft.
• Demonstrated experience in duplicate record resolution, compliance, or confidential records management.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and their application in data analysis and pattern detection.
