Admissions Counselor

Responsibilities

• Execute recruitment travel and virtual outreach for undergraduate and graduate audiences.
• Participate in on-campus and off-campus events, including open houses, information sessions, and high school visits.
• Design and facilitate specialized programming such as sample classes, workshops, and immersive campus experiences.
• Manage and maintain prospective student data within the university’s CRM system (Slate).
• Review undergraduate and graduate applications and make admissions and scholarship recommendations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students via email, phone, and chat.
• Assist with the execution of yield events, including Admitted Student Days and webinars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (Master's degree preferred) in business, information systems, higher education, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or university-level recruitment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with CRM systems and database management.
• Valid driving license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service abilities.
