Admissions Counselor

Responsibilities

• Represent Hannibal-LaGrange University at recruitment events, including high school visitations, college fairs, conventions, and church programs
• Make formal presentations to prospective students and parents both on campus and within the community
• Counsel prospective students regarding admissions procedures, financial aid, academic programs, and career opportunities
• Develop and articulate recruitment and communication plans in collaboration with the Vice President of Enrollment Management
• Nurture relationships with high school counselors, pastoral staffs, and community influencers
• Maintain an extensive follow-up program for applicants and prospective students
• Participate in the planning and implementation of Enrollment Management Department events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-task environment and work independently
• Vibrant, personal Christian faith including a clear testimony of Christian conversion and active involvement in an evangelical church

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange University
