Admissions Counselor/Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions

Responsibilities

• Manage the undergraduate transfer prospect and applicant pool
• Serve as the primary point of contact for undergraduate transfer students
• Deliver admission presentations and meet with prospective students and families
• Provide detailed information regarding course transfers and equivalencies
• Plan, organize, and implement data-driven recruitment strategies
• Attend in-person and virtual transfer fairs and recruitment events
• Collaborate with community colleges to grow 2+2 and 2+2+1 transfer agreements
• Review transfer admission applications and award scholarships
• Partner with campus departments including Financial Aid, Registrar, and Campus Life to support student onboarding

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license, clear of major violations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Admissions or Higher Education
