Admissions Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily processing of applications and supporting documents for various university partnerships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for applicant file completion and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant records in Salesforce to track progress across all campuses.
• Provide dedicated support for Canadian applicants, ensuring alignment with regional expectations and timelines.
• Support the Waterloo University pathway through application processing and document verification.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional "Pod" team to move students efficiently through the admissions funnel.
• Assist deposited students with enrollment steps, including financial aid, housing, and registration.
• Identify and escalate process inefficiencies or applicants at risk of disengagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in higher education admissions, student services, or a related customer service role is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work a standard work week with flexibility required during peak admissions periods (evenings and weekends).
• Proficiency in using computers, phones, Zoom, and other online communication platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Previous experience supporting Canadian or international student populations.
