Admissions Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate undergraduate and postgraduate admissions activity through Australian Tertiary Admission Centres (QTAC and UAC)
• Manage and supervise a team of senior admissions professionals to ensure accurate and timely application processing
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of TAC application and offer rounds, including support for admission schemes like Early Offers
• Drive continuous improvement of admission processes, quality assurance, and risk management
• Build and sustain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Leverage student management systems and data to provide evidence-based recommendations and streamline workflows
• Provide expert training and guidance to University staff and TAC assessors

Requirements

• Proven experience within the higher education sector
• Strong understanding of tertiary admissions, selection, and enrolment processes
• Demonstrated experience in leadership, supervision, coaching, and team development
• Proficiency in using student management systems and relational databases
• Highly developed analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound professional judgment in complex matters
