Admission Counselor

Responsibilities

• Implement recruitment strategies to promote Professional & Graduate Studies (PGS) programs to prospective online undergraduate and graduate students.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial inquiry through enrollment, by conducting consultative interviews and providing guidance on admissions and costs.
• Execute high-volume outreach, including a minimum of 80 outbound calls per day via phone, email, and text.
• Maintain accurate student data and communication logs within the University’s CRM system.
• Plan and participate in recruitment initiatives such as virtual information sessions, webinars, community outreach, and campus events.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, employers, and educational institutions to drive enrollment growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Portland, OR, and maintain a regular on-campus presence.
• Ability to meet performance benchmarks and deadlines in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in recruitment, enrollment, or student-facing roles within higher education.
• Experience working with adult learners, graduate students, or non-traditional student populations.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
