Admission Counsellor

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic and career guidance to prospective candidates to suggest suitable courses and programs.
• Clarify queries regarding course details, eligibility, admission processes, fees, and scholarships.
• Counsel working professionals on program features, pedagogy, and curriculum to assist in career planning.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline through cold calling and inbound inquiries to convert leads into admissions.
• Consistently meet monthly sales targets and maintain detailed records of all interactions in the CRM.
• Coordinate the application process and communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Stay updated on industry trends and provide feedback to marketing and academic teams based on student interactions.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in academic counseling, career guidance, or admission sales.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills.
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to practice active listening.
• Knowledge of education systems, programs, and career pathways.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Fluency in both English and Hindi.
