Admission Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment
• Review and process applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Maintain and update applicant records within the university’s information system
• Communicate admissions decisions and provide guidance on next steps to prospective students
• Collaborate with faculty, administrative staff, and nursing staff to maintain departmental standards
• Generate reports and track admissions data to support enrollment goals
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and FERPA regulations

Requirements

• 2 years of related experience (e.g., healthcare, technology support, or administrative roles)
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with PC or Mac platforms
• Knowledge of FERPA and regulations related to student records and privacy
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with CRM systems such as Slate or Banner
• Familiarity with higher education admissions processes
• Experience working in a private or faith-based institution
