About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional reception service, welcoming visitors and managing sign-in procedures
  • Answer and manage phone calls and enquiries, directing them to the appropriate person
  • Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, document preparation, and minute taking
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and internal correspondence
  • Maintain accurate filing and archiving systems to ensure secure information storage
  • Support colleagues across the college with various administrative tasks
  • Monitor stationery and office supplies to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

  • At least 5 GCSEs above grade C, including English and Maths
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
