About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communications and business operations between Chinese counterparts and internal stakeholders for the QDLP team.
  • Coordinate with fund custodians and internal teams for onshore bank account openings and authorized signatory lists.
  • Support fund administrator setup, including document uploads and product setup forms.
  • Manage cash movements, new investor setups, and subscription processes with fund administrators and custodians.
  • Provide Capital Arrival Certification to compliance for AMAC applications and coordinate AMAC filings.
  • Liaison with the legal team to prepare, review, and approve wire/FX instructions and initiate transfers.
  • Support the translation of financial information, such as quarter-end NAV packs, between English and Chinese.
  • Prepare and distribute dividend notices and redemption application tables in Chinese.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for auditors, facilitating audit confirmation requests and reviewing AFS in Chinese.
  • Manage regulatory reporting, including annual AMR filings, Shanghai SAFE inquiries, and quarterly cross-border transaction reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting and the Chinese regulatory environment.
  • Experience or knowledge regarding private equity investment funds and investment companies.
  • Understanding of transaction support, accounting, and partnership accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a strong work ethic and "can-do" attitude.
