About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare points of sale for daily trading, including issuing and reconciling till floats.
- Process, report, and investigate daily banking activity and PDQ reporting.
- Liaise with the cash office and external cash collection partners.
- Complete daily safe checks and support cashiers with end-of-day cashing up.
- Produce weekly reports covering sales, VAT, footfall, and store variance.
- Manage store administration, including post distribution and purchase order creation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and coordinate with central HR regarding staff changes.
Requirements
- Experience in administration or cash office operations, ideally within a retail environment.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and experience handling financial data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communicator able to work with store teams, HR, and central functions.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and trust.
- Proactive, solution-focused, and calm approach to problem-solving.
