About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee intake, assessment, and intervention processes to ensure appropriate evaluation of youth and alignment with individualized service planning.
  • Lead the implementation of intervention strategies grounded in brain development, relational health, and trauma-informed, evidence-based practices.
  • Ensure continuity of care by integrating services across departments and aligning assessment outcomes with treatment planning.
  • Provide leadership during high-risk situations, including oversight of crisis intervention services and on-call support.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and intensive case reviews to promote coordinated decision-making.
  • Monitor program performance and compliance with licensing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Intervention Services staff to foster professional growth and accountability.
  • Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, documentation, and resident supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Child Psychology, Counseling, Human Services Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be substituted).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential childcare.
  • Minimum of 1 year of staff supervision experience.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavior management, and child development.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDL within 3 months of employment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and willing to live on campus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in behavior management.
  • Understanding of Texas licensing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in challenge course facilitation and equine growth and learning.
