Responsibilities
- Oversee intake, assessment, and intervention processes to ensure appropriate evaluation of youth and alignment with individualized service planning.
- Lead the implementation of intervention strategies grounded in brain development, relational health, and trauma-informed, evidence-based practices.
- Ensure continuity of care by integrating services across departments and aligning assessment outcomes with treatment planning.
- Provide leadership during high-risk situations, including oversight of crisis intervention services and on-call support.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and intensive case reviews to promote coordinated decision-making.
- Monitor program performance and compliance with licensing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Intervention Services staff to foster professional growth and accountability.
- Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, documentation, and resident supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Child Psychology, Counseling, Human Services Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be substituted).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential childcare.
- Minimum of 1 year of staff supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavior management, and child development.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDL within 3 months of employment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and willing to live on campus.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in behavior management.
- Understanding of Texas licensing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in challenge course facilitation and equine growth and learning.
