About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee general office functions, including supply ordering, equipment maintenance, and student employee supervision
  • Provide administrative support for the Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, including budget assistance and purchasing card reconciliation
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of Alumni Board meetings, Homecoming, and other office-sponsored events
  • Maintain and update data within Raiser’s Edge and coordinate with Development Operations for correspondence lists
  • Manage Alumni ID Card registration and distribution processes
  • Handle office communications by answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing the office email inbox
  • Process alumni news and prepare draft publications for the Class Notes section of the Stetson University Magazine

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree
  • Minimum of three years of administrative support experience, preferably in higher education
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise good judgment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with students or in a leadership capacity
  • Experience in program development or budget monitoring
  • Proven ability to develop strong, positive relationships within a university community
