About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Child Development Program
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and maintenance of program contracts and agreements
- Support monthly Policy Council meetings and attend other meetings to take notes and prepare minutes
- Perform edit checks for the timely submission of monthly USDA CACFP meal claims
- Manage office logistics including supply ordering, mail distribution, and equipment inventory tracking
- Coordinate staff training logistics and travel arrangements
- Process requisitions, purchase orders, and receiving reports in accordance with fiscal policy
- Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality in line with organizational policy
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel when needed
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to self-manage multiple tasks and maintain an orderly flow of paperwork
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior administrative experience
- Experience working with Head Start programs
