About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing, formatting, and proofreading court reports and other legal documents
  • Liaise effectively with internal staff and external parties, including legal professionals and court representatives
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports and documentation
  • Organize and maintain digital files in compliance with confidentiality requirements
  • Coordinate with management to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently
  • Support the preparation of court documents for hearings, meetings, and filings
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, email correspondence, and data entry

Requirements

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Post-secondary education with a legal background is an asset
  • Previous experience in Insolvency or Personal Debt Solutions is an asset
