Administrative Nurse Director

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for all nursing and designated patient care functions.
• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing practice across multiple units.
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care and clinical staff competency.
• Manage resources related to patient care and support hospital operational efficiency.
• Serve as a role model and advocate for the professional nursing discipline.
• Oversee nursing quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and Joint Commission readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• 2+ years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment at a manager or director level.
• Experience managing multi-unit nursing practice and staffing operations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and hospital operational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Master's degree in a healthcare-related field.
