About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise administrative services including human resources, financial management, and support staff for the Division of Substance Abuse and Addiction Medicine (DSAAM).
  • Manage division-specific human resources tasks, employee-related documentation, and personnel management within labor contracts.
  • Oversee financial operations, including fund accounting, monitoring program expenses, and developing financial strategies and projections.
  • Manage pre- and post-award grants, contracts, and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU).
  • Provide leadership and supervision to administrative support and professional staff.
  • Evaluate complex issues and identify resolutions to ensure efficient departmental operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in human resources, risk management planning, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with fund accounting, budget management, and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in grants and contracts management.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and payroll processes.
  • Extensive experience with risk management planning and complex financial reporting techniques.
