About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage visitor services, including scheduling tours, K-12 programs, and photo appointments
- Hire, train, and coordinate front-line staff and student workers
- Oversee museum gift shop operations, including vendor contact, ordering, inventory, and displays
- Maintain the museum's membership database and membership program
- Manage the museum's website, social media accounts, and paid marketing efforts
- Assist with docent coordination and volunteer communications
- Serve as manager-on-duty and assist with museum projects and public events
Requirements
- Two years of experience in administrative services
- Valid driver's license (subject to MVR check)
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass a credit check due to handling university funds
