About the role

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable invoices for accuracy and compliance with County financial policies
  • Prepare check and electronic ACH vendor payments
  • Review and approve employee p-card transactions and expense reimbursement requests
  • Maintain complete and accurate vendor documentation in the financial software system
  • Support the purchasing team by reviewing contract renewals and processing extensions
  • Coordinate and route contracts through the electronic signature system
  • Maintain certificate of insurance files and purchasing project documentation
  • Fulfill open records requests for purchasing documents

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant prior experience in administrative or financial roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience with Tyler Munis ERP or similar financial software
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain accurate records
