About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and program support for the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) education engagement program
- Liaise with contacts to ensure consistent administration procedures are followed
- Update and maintain program records, including scanning, filing, and copying documents
- Determine logistical details and activities for events and programming
- Track the financial status of program accounts and reconcile expenses
- Draft routine correspondence, reports, and other professional documents
- Edit content for brochures, newsletters, websites, and handbooks
Requirements
- College diploma (2 years) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of two years of recent administrative experience, preferably in education or community outreach
- Experience providing program support and coordinating event logistics
- Experience drafting correspondence, generating reports, and reconciling accounts
- Experience editing promotional content and maintaining digital platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and community outreach
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law policies and programs
- Knowledge and understanding of the legal community and profession
