About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Middle School, including calendar management and meeting coordination
- Serve as a professional representative of the Middle School for students, parents, and faculty
- Oversee Middle School office operations, including supply ordering, mail distribution, and record maintenance
- Plan and coordinate various school events such as faculty meetings, parent coffees, and graduation obligations
- Manage documentation, including transcripts, progress reports, and official correspondence
- Provide logistical support for special projects and institutional priorities
Requirements
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Executive or Administrative Assistant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (specifically Word mail-merge and Excel formulas)
- Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to work in a school environment and pass all required background checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience using Blackbaud or similar Enterprise Resource Programs
