Responsibilities

  • Organize and schedule planning meetings, trainings, webinars, and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain the listserv and contact lists for outreach efforts
  • Research upcoming events, resources, and professional development opportunities beneficial to the team
  • Create and distribute newsletters, announcements, and flyers for various trainings and events
  • Assist in writing reports and organizing data collected by the team
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records, files, and correspondence to document services provided

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel regularly to various locations throughout Long Island
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Spanish speaking skills
