Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule planning meetings, trainings, webinars, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain the listserv and contact lists for outreach efforts
- Research upcoming events, resources, and professional development opportunities beneficial to the team
- Create and distribute newsletters, announcements, and flyers for various trainings and events
- Assist in writing reports and organizing data collected by the team
- Maintain thorough and accurate records, files, and correspondence to document services provided
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel regularly to various locations throughout Long Island
- Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Spanish speaking skills
