Administrative Assistant, International Logistics

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and maintain legal import documentation requirements for countries in the Caribbean, Central, and South America
• Create export documents and track/trace shipments for CA/SA documentation
• Manage air freight logistics by selecting appropriate air carriers and booking shipments
• Maintain data integrity within Sysco’s export shipping system (SUS – Export Module)
• Create export air freight documents and log shipments
• Assist the Import, Foreign to Foreign, and Export Logistics departments as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and administer procedures to minimize carrier rate nonconformance

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (2 years of higher education preferred)
• 2 years of international documentation experience
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
• Fluency in English
• Ability to multitask with extreme attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish
