About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and clinical support to Radiation Oncologists and the Radiation Medicine Program management team
- Manage complex calendars proactively, prioritizing competing demands and interacting with senior leaders
- Assist with the preparation of confidential documents, including employment letters and annual reports
- Support HR-related submissions for new hires, contract extensions, and leaves in partnership with HR divisions
- Help develop policies, standard operating procedures, guidelines, and training materials
- Provide training and guidance to junior administrative staff
- Contribute to quality improvement projects within the department
Requirements
- College diploma in office administration or a recognized equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Minimum of four years of relevant administrative experience, including at least two years in a senior role
- Experience providing administrative support in health services or similar complex settings
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and Adobe Pro
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to groups and developing formal reports
- Demonstrated leadership ability to train and motivate staff
- Proven ability to maintain privacy, confidentiality, and handle high-pressure situations with good judgment
