About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to undergraduate, postgraduate resident, and fellowship directors and program coordinators
- Facilitate university and hospital application processes for anesthesia fellows
- Manage onboarding and orientation processes for all anesthesia learners
- Coordinate and distribute weekly resident rounds schedules
- Maintain and distribute Survey Monkey evaluations for residents and fellows
- Perform cross-functional and backup duties as assigned to support the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management
Requirements
- Completion of a 2-year community college program in health care administration or a recognized equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of related secretarial support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database and spreadsheet software
- Excellent organization, time management, and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to produce high-quality, accurate work and work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Business, organization, or management training at the college or university level
