Administrative Assistant & Gore Arts Complex Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for the Department of Art, including meeting documentation, records management, and faculty support.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, delivering professional customer service.
• Manage departmental communications between faculty, staff, students, and the community.
• Oversee facility operations at the Gore Arts Complex, including event scheduling, building access, and security systems.
• Assist with data collection, reporting, and other administrative projects to support departmental goals and compliance.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of professional experience in office administration, customer service, hospitality, higher education, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard office technology and computer applications.
• Commitment to working in a collegial environment marked by Christian hospitality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
