About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced and diversified administrative support to Program Directors, the Executive Director of the Institute for Character and Leadership, faculty, and students.
- Support the Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology and the General Theoretical Masters Program.
- Coordinate the entire administrative admissions process for assigned programs.
- Manage administrative tasks for both graduate and non-academic programs within the College of Psychology and Counseling.
- Maintain office oversight and assist with financial record keeping.
Requirements
- High School degree required (College degree preferred).
- Minimum of three years of professional administrative experience, preferably in higher education or a complex office environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and data management.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of commercial courses related to general office and administrative skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
- Experience with Ellucian, PSYCAS, or accreditation record-keeping.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom.
- Experience with website content management systems and professional social media platforms like LinkedIn.
