About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide project coordination and tracking for the Communications and Events team
- Support event logistics for high-profile projects including NYC Climate Week, COP, and the AGU Annual Meeting
- Assist with communications, scheduling, and managing timelines and materials
- Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Provide on-site event support as required
Requirements
- Must be a current Columbia University student
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Must be available to work on Saturday, October 17, 2026
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting events, communications, or mission-driven organizations
- Experience working within higher education or nonprofit sectors
