About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide project coordination and tracking for the Communications and Events team
  • Support event logistics for high-profile projects including NYC Climate Week, COP, and the AGU Annual Meeting
  • Assist with communications, scheduling, and managing timelines and materials
  • Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide on-site event support as required

Requirements

  • Must be a current Columbia University student
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Must be available to work on Saturday, October 17, 2026

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting events, communications, or mission-driven organizations
  • Experience working within higher education or nonprofit sectors
