About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to Student Life, Career Development, and Recreation Services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the office, managing inquiries from students, staff, and campus partners
- Maintain departmental calendars, meeting schedules, and shared resources
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, and events, including room reservations and technology needs
- Assist with internal and external communications, including email, forms, and informational materials
- Support student-facing services by assisting with appointment scheduling and check-ins
- Assist with purchasing, reimbursements, and basic budget tracking
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems in alignment with university policies
Requirements
- A lifestyle in agreement with the Olivet Nazarene University Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems
- Demonstrated leadership experience in recreation, wellness, student development, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professional discretion
- Bachelor's degree preferred
