About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support Investment Advisors and branch operations through day-to-day administration and exceptional client service.
  • Coordinate marketing activities, including social media initiatives, website updates, and client event planning.
  • Assist the advisory team with client meeting preparation and appointment scheduling.
  • Handle client inquiries and requests, including money movements (wires, transfers), account openings, and technology support.
  • Generate reports and documents for advisors and clients while maintaining organized client databases and files.
  • Ensure all transactions and tasks are appropriately assigned and completed within the team.
  • Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain strict confidentiality.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study is preferred.
  • Knowledge of wealth management operations (e.g., client services, trust services, account transfers).
  • Familiarity with financial technology applications and software used in the investment industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to meet licensing and certification requirements for the specific jurisdiction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of traditional products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) and non-traditional products (managed and fee-based).
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
