About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide complex administrative support to the Director and the Office for Institutional Equity (OIE).
- Serve as a liaison to the campus community, explaining policies and procedures in a trauma-informed and inclusive manner.
- Manage confidential records, including intake of sensitive information and maintaining secure online filing systems.
- Oversee payroll for student workers and manage scheduling and correspondence for mandatory Title IX workshops.
- Assist in budget administration, including tracking expenditures, processing invoices, and managing purchase requisitions.
- Support communication efforts by developing print and online materials related to non-discrimination and anti-harassment policies.
- Maintain the Office for Institutional Equity website and disseminate required legal notices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of prior executive, administrative, and project management experience.
- 4 years of professional experience working in complex environments.
- Experience with employee relations, conduct, compliance administration, or investigative work.
- Proven ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information with professional discretion.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Skill in writing concise, logical analytical reports to convey complex issues.
- Demonstrated commitment to values of equal opportunity and inclusive excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of related professional experience.
- Experience applying federal and state equal opportunity laws (e.g., Title IX, Title VII, ADA, Clery Act).
- Proficiency with information systems such as Maxient or Banner.
