About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and office support to the Vice President for Marketing and Communications
- Assist the Director of University Events with relevant campus event functions
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing and communications projects
- Promote a positive image for the Office of Marketing and Communications that reflects the university brand, values, and culture
- Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and clear information flow
- Foster collaboration across the team and surface potential issues to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support tasks and functions
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise good judgment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to the mission and vision of Mississippi Christian University
