About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and office support to the Vice President for Marketing and Communications
  • Assist the Director of University Events with relevant campus event functions
  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing and communications projects
  • Promote a positive image for the Office of Marketing and Communications that reflects the university brand, values, and culture
  • Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and clear information flow
  • Foster collaboration across the team and surface potential issues to leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative support tasks and functions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise good judgment
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Mississippi Christian University
