About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive and inform patients regarding their stay, treatments, and hospital procedures.
- Verify patient documentation and prepare medical records, reports, and diagnostic results.
- Register patients for admissions, surgeries, and outpatient consultations to ensure accurate billing.
- Manage telephone inquiries, schedule interconsultations, and coordinate patient appointments.
- Act as a mediator to resolve patient incidents, suggestions, or complaints.
- Handle administrative tasks including email management, internal calls, and medical file archiving.
- Process billing for private patients and manage accident reports or insurance authorizations.
- Monitor customer service wait times and collaborate with the team to optimize patient flow.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting is mandatory.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including empathy and active listening.
- Proficiency in medical documentation management and healthcare administration.
- Knowledge of billing processes and handling financial transactions.
- Proven ability in conflict resolution and managing patient incidents.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
