Adjunct, Undergraduate Business

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate business courses as assigned, ensuring instruction aligns with approved learning outcomes and curriculum.
• Organize and deliver course content using effective instructional methods to promote student engagement and conceptual understanding.
• Manage an active and organized course within Canvas, including syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and grades.
• Develop, administer, and evaluate assessments to effectively measure student learning outcomes.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students regarding their academic performance.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student academic records in accordance with university policies.
• Submit final grades and required academic reports by established university deadlines.
• Maintain regular communication with students and the Undergraduate Chair regarding course-related matters.
• Foster positive and professional working relationships within the university community.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in business or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
• Alternatively, a terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Proficiency in using Canvas for course management and student communication.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality undergraduate instruction.
