Adjunct - Public Health Program

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction to undergraduate and graduate students through lectures, labs, or experiential learning
• Assess and develop student cognitive abilities, communication skills, and higher-order thinking through various assignments
• Advise students regarding programs of study, lifelong learning resources, and effective study skills
• Evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and provide timely feedback
• Plan and organize instruction in alignment with department and university mission and goals
• Maintain accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, and student academic progress
• Select and evaluate instructional materials such as textbooks, software, and tools

Requirements

• Possession of a master’s degree from a graduate institution of recognized standing or equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of current theory and practice within the public health discipline
• Demonstrated understanding of effective teaching principles and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Public Health (MPH) or a degree in a closely related field
