About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide quality instruction for undergraduate STEM students through physics lectures and/or laboratory experiments
- Guide students through data collection and analysis using evidence-based active learning pedagogies
- Evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Hold regular office hours to support student learning
- Manage administrative tasks including tracking attendance and submitting midterm and final grades online
- Maintain timely communication with students, lab coordinators, and administrators
- Contribute to an inclusive and supportive working and learning environment
- Adhere to established teaching protocols within the physics program
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Physics or a closely related field
- Ability to teach in person on the Metropolitan Campus (Teaneck, NJ) during day or evening sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience at the college level
