Adjunct Professor of Physics

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction for undergraduate STEM students through physics lectures and/or laboratory experiments
• Guide students through data collection and analysis using evidence-based active learning pedagogies
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Hold regular office hours to support student learning
• Manage administrative tasks including tracking attendance and submitting midterm and final grades online
• Maintain timely communication with students, lab coordinators, and administrators
• Contribute to an inclusive and supportive working and learning environment
• Adhere to established teaching protocols within the physics program

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Physics or a closely related field
• Ability to teach in person on the Metropolitan Campus (Teaneck, NJ) during day or evening sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience at the college level
