Adjunct Professor of Physics

Responsibilities

• Provide quality in-person instruction for undergraduate STEM students in physics lecture and/or laboratory sections
• Guide students through weekly physics lectures and laboratory experiments using evidence-based active learning pedagogies
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely, appropriate feedback
• Hold regular office hours and track student attendance
• Submit attendance verification, midterm grades, and final grades through online systems
• Maintain timely communication with students, lab coordinators, and administrators
• Contribute to an inclusive working and learning environment and follow established teaching protocols

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Physics or a closely related field
• Ability to teach in person on the Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, NJ
• Ability to pass a satisfactory background check
• Ability to provide a Social Security Card for employment verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience at the college level
