About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach general chemistry lecture courses and corresponding recitation sections at the Metro Campus
  • Lead in-person instruction for students
  • Assess student learning through the assignment of homework sets, worksheets, quizzes, and exams
  • Grade assignments and provide timely feedback to students
  • Assign final course grades

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or above in chemistry or a closely related field
  • Previous teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industrial experience in a chemistry-related field
