About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach general chemistry lecture courses and corresponding recitation sections at the Metro Campus
- Lead in-person instruction for students
- Assess student learning through the assignment of homework sets, worksheets, quizzes, and exams
- Grade assignments and provide timely feedback to students
- Assign final course grades
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in chemistry or a closely related field
- Previous teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial experience in a chemistry-related field
