About the role
Responsibilities
- Guide students through weekly pre-designed in-person laboratory experiments in general chemistry, organic chemistry, or health sciences
- Evaluate student notebooks and laboratory reports
- Maintain and supervise a safe laboratory environment
- Ensure correct handling of chemicals and glassware
- Monitor proper use of PPE and correct disposal of laboratory waste
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in chemistry or a closely related field
- Ability to conduct in-person laboratory instruction
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience
- Industrial experience in chemistry-related fields
