About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach laboratory courses in general, organic, health, or forensic chemistry
- Guide students through weekly pre-designed in-person laboratory experiments
- Evaluate student notebooks and laboratory reports
- Maintain and supervise a safe laboratory environment
- Ensure proper handling of chemicals and glassware, correct use of PPE, and proper waste disposal
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in chemistry or a closely related field
- Ability to work onsite at the Florham Campus in Madison, NJ
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience
- Industrial experience in a chemistry-related field
