Adjunct Professor of Chemistry Lab

Responsibilities

• Teach laboratory courses in general chemistry and/or health sciences at the Metro Campus
• Guide students through the performance of weekly pre-designed in-person laboratory experiments
• Evaluate student notebooks and laboratory reports
• Maintain and supervise a safe laboratory environment
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals and glassware, enforcement of PPE usage, and correct disposal of laboratory waste

Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in chemistry or a closely related field
• Ability to work onsite at the Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, NJ
• Submission of a cover letter and curriculum vitae/resume

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in a laboratory or classroom setting
• Industrial experience in chemistry or related scientific fields
