Adjunct Professor - Master of Social Work

Responsibilities

• Teach part-time credit hours of coursework each semester as specified by faculty classification
• Hold regularly scheduled office hours and additional hours by appointment
• Maintain accurate records of class attendance and student performance
• Assign course grades in accordance with University guidelines and meet all deadline requirements for mid-term and final grades
• Support the assessment of major degree programs and Liberal Studies
• Provide timely and professional feedback on student assignments
• Utilize technology effectively to teach courses, including online formats
• Comply with all University protocols, including classroom procedures and COVID-19 guidelines

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program or a related field
• At least two years of post-graduate practice experience
• Knowledge of CSWE accreditation standards and professional Code of Ethics
• Experience in curriculum development and program assessment
• Ability to demonstrate professional conduct and commitment to diversity
