About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach the first-year electric circuits lab course (EECE2015)
- Attend all scheduled lab sessions and deliver weekly lectures
- Grade lab reports, create exams, and assign student grades
- Hold regular office hours to support student learning
- Supervise and interact with teaching assistants
- Upload and maintain course materials on the D2L platform
- Communicate course progress regularly with the department chair
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Twelve years of college-level teaching experience
- Deep expertise in Electrical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced mastery of electrical engineering concepts and experimental skills
- Experience with circuit design and theoretical circuit knowledge
- Proficiency in operating various measurement instruments for circuits
- Expertise in transformers, digital logic, and digital/analog circuit design
