Adjunct Professor for Anatomy and Physiology For Health Sciences

Responsibilities

• Teach Anatomy and Physiology 2 (Bio2071) lecture and/or laboratory courses for students in nursing and health sciences.
• Deliver content covering endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems.
• Utilize Brightspace as the digital learning platform for course materials and grading.
• Conduct in-person instruction using anatomical models and current technology.
• Hold three office hours per week to support student success.
• Manage course schedules including Monday/Wednesday lectures and Friday laboratory sessions.

Requirements

• M.S., Ph.D., or post-doc in a related discipline.
• Strong academic background in histology or anatomy/physiology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Anatomage technology.
• Experience using BIOPAC systems.
• Previous experience in academic instruction.
