Adjunct Nurse Faculty - Clinicals

Responsibilities

• Utilize different teaching methodologies to prepare various kinds of learners
• Follow institution policies and procedures as stated in faculty handbook
• Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with the Director of Nursing
• Facilitate learning by delivering the assigned teaching load
• Supervise students in clinical settings, skills labs, and simulations
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director regarding student placement in clinical facilities
• Maintain regular office hours to foster a supportive educational environment

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing
• Active and encumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida
• Three or more years of teaching experience
• Three or more years of clinical experience in the specialty being taught
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Surgical and Mental Health background
