Adjunct Music Instructor - Guitar

Responsibilities

• Teach Applied Guitar and Guitar Methods for Music Educators
• Coach faculty-led commercial music groups and jazz combos
• Provide applied instruction for music majors and non-majors
• Potential to teach guitar classes for non-majors and commercial music courses based on student interest and expertise

Requirements

• Graduate degree in guitar performance or a related field
• Previous teaching experience
• Command of jazz and commercial guitar techniques
• Knowledge of classical guitar

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of guitar classroom methods and techniques
