Adjunct Mathematics Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate mathematics courses as offered by the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences
• Engage in scholarship activities and contribute to the academic community
• Provide service to the department and the university
• Support biology majors and minors through service mathematics courses

Requirements

• Earned Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field by the time of hiring
• Strong commitment to excellence in teaching
• Experience working with diverse and multicultural student populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Research areas related to the algorithms of current artificial intelligence
