About the role
Responsibilities
- Co-direct the University of Michigan Percussion Ensemble for the 2026-2027 academic year (Fall and Winter terms)
- Coach undergraduate and graduate percussion majors in contemporary percussion repertoire
- Collaborate with students on new creative projects
- Work closely with SMTD Percussion Faculty and the SMTD Concerts and Events team
Requirements
- Previous university-level experience coaching percussion ensembles
- Proven ability to curate repertoire appropriate for a percussion ensemble
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
